Absolutely stunning fanart (and an excellent choice for this theme)!

It's always a delight to meet someone else who has read the book! I recommend it whenever appropriate. ^_^

Author has quite a way with descriptions. She made my muse rather excited.

It's such vivid prose. There are so many things I'd like to see, and yet so far all I've done is a hasty sketch of Margaret at the window after overturning the chess board.

I have a thought or two more which Need to Happen, myself, but my active queue of Pictures In Progress is rather large at the moment. One of the recurring ones in my head would be a panorama view of the Lookingglass ballroom floor in shadow, with a tiny Margaret moving across the bird mosaic with her candle-glow... What are some of the things you would really like to turn your hand to, eventually?

YES. That would be MARVELOUS.

Top of my things I'd like to do is a Margaret paperdoll, mostly because I really loved the star-gown and the chinaberry dress she wore and there are so many other choices of attire. (I'm to chapter seven in a reread and there are already almost that many different outfits described...)
Second is the one I've already tried; third, if I were feeling ambitious, might be when Rupert and the war party meet at the crossroads. Or meeting the dragon, or Rupert at the gates of horn, or even just the fox in his little ring of lamplight in the cellar...

Ooooh, Gates of Horn WOULD be one for the books, wouldn't it? (My Ultimate Take for that scene would be kind of a skewed, half-melted nightmare-perspective and have a certain winged personage and the effects of his touch sort of... Dripping down the page into Rupert's part of the scene, and the white light of the gate like a "light at the end of the tunnel" behind his wings - but I would be pleased to see someone do a take on Rupert in that scene regardless of accouterments!) (Also, any thoughts on an illumination for that snatch of song they keep singing - "pipe away the azure blood"?)
And Margaret's outfits do seem well-suited for paperdoll experiments. Not normally my field, but it would be fun to see your results should such happen! ^_^
